Walled Lake Elementary School is one of 12 elementary buildings in Oakland County's Walled Lake Consolidated School District. Students in grades PK-5 attend Walled Lake. The school's website spells out its number one objective is to, "...make sure that all students achieve high levels of learning." The Walled Lake School Improvement Plan shows teachers and administrators focus on the basics, with students proficient in reading, math, science, writing, and social studies. It also calls for a specific increase in reading proficiency from year-to-year.
The Walled Lake district relies on an agreement between parents and guardians, students, and teachers. It's a parent-teacher-student compact called "A Promise of Commitment".
