GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Wallkill Senior High School was good. The teachers were always willing to help and always made an effort to meet on their free periods if I was confused. The activities were fun and gave a sense of community in the school. I would suggest more rigorous coursework, but overall it was a great high school experience.

I've been going to wallkill senior highschool for all 4 years and honestly it's been full roller coaster of emotions and events. it's a great school and they try to give you the best opportunities and facilities to help you grown and succeed, and of course have the most fun you can and really live your high school experience. From the pep rallies to the clubs and sport my high school has everything to offer with great faculty members and overall a great vibe that comes along with it. I'd really recommend going here it's perfect.

I liked the small tight knit community but being in a smaller school meant there was less interesting and diverse experiences than you get at a larger school.
