GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I'd say my best experiences with Wamego is all the teachers. They're always there to help you no matter what. They're always supportive and what you do. If you ever need help just ask them and they'll help. Another good experience of Wamego High School is making friends. It's really easy to make new friends there even if it's a small school. My worst experience at Wamego is Algebra 2. I wasn't good at it because I didn't get the help I needed.

Teachers give forth a lot of effort during class time. However, the school lacks many advanced and AP classes in core subjects.

It is a good school that has teachers that really care about their students and preparing them for after high school and college.
