The 3 elementary schools have undergone some major upgrades in the resources they offer their students. Wonderful nurturing teachers are at Mandalay Elementary, and I have heard excellent feedback from parents whose children attend the other 2 elementary schools. Now that the pandemic is mostly over...

I know the Beech Street Elementary School building(s) were expanded to accommodate booming student enrollment during 1999-2005, but since the student enrollment has now decreased significantly (at least 20%) what is Wantagh School Board’s rationale for raising taxes to educate 20% fewer students?

Great elementary school, provides a strong fundemental base for the childs further learning. Strong teachers, good administration and strong parent involvement through the PTA. The school is quite large for an elementary school.
