I have so many issues with this school that I don't even know where to begin. My children are bi-racial and have had many slurs aimed at them, as this is a racist town. The school does nothing at all about bullying or racism. They held a gun raffle through the school right after a mass school shooting because they have no class. Teachers share their personal political views. Teachers and counselors bring up their personal religion. Staff believe they can speak to your children however they please, that includes name calling. The teachers do not communicate well with parents. Very unorganized. They will send home important event papers with almost no information, constantly having to email staff with questions. They scheduled a no school day for 9th grade due to upper grades testing, then made that the day they had to go to school to turn in their schedules for the next year, like that makes any sense. They deleted all of their bad reviews on Google. This whole town is aweful.

Wapakoneta High School is a very good school that offers excellent academics and has fantastic facilities. I graduated from this school last year and they helped readily prepare me for life after high school including college. They also held a job fair where I was able to get a job in my selected field where I now work at making good money. This school prepares you for a lot of obstacles and prepares you well financially especially with their personal finance class. Breakfast at the school is free for all students and lunch is very affordable while also having a wide variety including for people with allergies. The food also tastes quite good. The school aslo has a lot of resources for students struggling with mental health and also disabled students. They also hold a great program called the Wapak Way to teach children about modern day problems and how to prepare for life after high school. Some students are rather entitled and don't realize how good our facilities and academics are.

Teachers are very encouraging and push you to be the best. I would like to be more prepared for harder classes at a young age.

When I attended Wapak High School (class of 2007), the class sizes were small which made for a better learning experience. They also had many programs available to get a jump start on college credits, like their wide range of AP courses and their program to attend the Lima OSU branch for coursework....

As a student of Wapakoneta High School, I can say that I have seen little bullying, and have had a good time attending school. The teachers teach well and make it a good challenge for the students. They help the students out and offer after school time to help out. The principals are strict and unde...

I am a brand new graduate from here, and I went here since 8th grade. My feelings on the high school are mixed, due to changing attitudes during my years. I have to agree with other reviews, as an overweight girl who did not participate in sports or get relatively high grades, I saw myself and other...

Wapak schools have stepped up as far as academics/tests go. But coming from a former "middle class" student, if you consider moving here, wapak is a wonderful town. Not a lot of places to shop, but it's relaxing and easy-going. But make sure to spend less on your monthly mortgage and more on your ch...
