GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like how Washburn is such a small University. The classrooms are small and you do not get sucked in by 60 other students in one room. The professors are nice and they have many events going on every week. Academic Advisors are always there to help and the people, in general, are all very sweet. They have many clubs for any student who is interested and would want to join. There are a few things that I would personally like to change. If I could, I would make the dorms in the Living Learning Center better. I currently live in the LLC and there were a couple broken items. Overall, Washburn is a great school and I look forward to graduating here.

A school is the anchor of a community. For some reason, our nation moved away from developing schools that are community driven and opted for larger schools that bus children in from many different areas. Washburn is fortunate to have a school that serves the children that live in this small communi...

Washburn High School Is Great. Our Small Classes Give Us The Ability To Be Taught Individually. I Am Only a Sophomore But Already Know Everybody. That Feeling Of Being Friends With Everyone Is Great. It's A Small School Yes, But I Love The Atmosphere.
