Basis DC is a great school if you want to be academically challenged and pushed to the highest level. However, that being said, I think Basis could do a better job with providing students with resources that help them to understand the material they learn. It can feel very monotone and repetitive, however they try their best to make sure that students can have fun and learn at the same time.

Although I do like that the curriculum is more fast pasted and gives you a better chance at getting more credits there are a good amount of things it lacks. The teachers aren't that great and even when everyone fails the tests throughout the year the teachers are still brought back the next year. There are some very good teachers but they always end up leaving because of the bad conditions they have to deal with/how they are treated and other schools just being more appealing.

Basis DC is an academic based school. It has helped me with my time management skills and helped me learn to advocate for myself when needed. This school is stressful, but is worth it academically. I do wish for the future students of Basis DC that they prepare a new building, our current one a very cramped. I also hope they provide more activities for students because it would give the students some way to relaxe afterwards.
