GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've been at Chavez since 6th grade and now I'm a senior there. I've watched it change a lot over the years and I believe it's a good school where you can get a lot of support and help when you ask for it. Sometimes you won't get along with other students but that's how life will be. This school can change you and as long as you work hard, it can prepare you for your future.

This high school prepared me overall for my college readiness and with great resources to prepare myself for the world outside of high school. I gladly recommend this school to those who are looking for college readiness. Also this school varies in a bright future in sports, diversity, and education.

Cesar Chavez is an average school but overall, in my opinion, I dislike the school and can't wait to graduate from the school in 2018.
