My grandchild attended Kipp (Benning Rd SE) and it appeared that they treated the students as machines. The teachers seemed to be without feeling and uncaring in this environment. My child has been in Kipp since 4th grade It seems to be on the slop downward, it clear the teachers are not vested and are there to serve in an urban community to have their student loans forgiven They spend more time yelling and trying to control the children as oppose to relating and teaching.
