Although I am a Senior this is my first year attending Washington County High School. I transferred from a different school. Washington offers many more activities and opportunities. There are also many chances to socialize with other students. I was encouraged to join FFA this year and qualified for State Land Judging. I am extremely excited to have been given this opportunity and hop for many more.

The school has a very strong Ag program that is well run and very well supported by the community. There has been a large amount of turnover in the administration recently. The new administrators are working to improve the problems from former administrators.

The students are followers and they'll follow whoever they deem as most worthy and those who qualify are in need of a rude awakening. My high school experience was ruined by the classmates who wanted to be with the in-crowd. But their behaviors and actions deterred me from wanting to become one of them so that enabled me to focus on my academics and make my core object to get accepted into Washburn University. Which I recently received notice that I have been accepted into and will be attending next fall for the 2017-2018 school year to study in their pre-med program.
