The community really supports the school in this smaller town and that is awesome. Many of the teachers are supportive and caring but not all. I would love to see more emphasis on understanding mental health. I also would have liked access to more elective opportunities.

The experience at Wauconda High School has been bitter sweet it is truly an involved school with so much going on that you don't know where to start. Being part of all of the things from football games to assembly's are so much fun.

The school overall is a good environment if you ignore the kids who like to do whatever they want and think no one is better than them. The teachers are nice and homework is always manageable as long as you put in the effort. It sometimes gets annoying have to push through crowds of kids at sections of the school where hallways connects.

At the same time, they can absolutely let kids slip through the cracks who need academic counseling and study skill development. My experience was that...
