GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Small school with around 100-120 students per class. It's small enough where you get to know your teachers and they get to know you. I like the fact that the teachers take the time to know you outside of school and not just in the classroom. I feel like they prepared me for the next step in my education.

I feel very safe at this school. In my overall high school experience I knew everyone in my graduating class and where they came from. Any problems were handled and Waverly has the most amazing superintendent.

At Waverly the teachers try their bests to teach us by the means of what they are given and have to work with. It's a dual effort on getting through the year together, and you have to put in effort to receive a pretty decent grade. Teachers are knowledgable about the subjects they teach, although some can't communicate what they know as well as others seem to be able to. They try their best to really take the time for one on one learning with all their students, even though some need help more than others. Grading can be somewhat of an issue depending on what kind of work they want to see.

It is a great place to go to school. It has a community feel that can push you to do great things!

I had a concern about a teacher screaming at me and when I brought it to the school’s attention they did nothing but say that my only solution to my problem was to drop the class. But they weren’t concerned about the fact that the teacher made me very uncomfortable.

I went to school here and I was picked on horribly to the point I had my wrist broken multiple times from being pushed around by bullies. Now my child goes to school at whs and he asked me tonight " when do I get a body guard for school" I asked him why and he named a few students
