As a teacher at Shackelford, I am surrounded by a professional and caring staff who are fully invested in the education and well being of every child. There are many opportunities for children and parents to be involved in a wide variety of activities from robotics, choir, Destination Imagination, running club, and Ladies First. The school also works to maintain a strong relationship between families and staff.

Shackelford Elementary School has a positive atmosphere as well as teachers that truly care about their students. The entire staff works together as a team to meet the needs of the students and to encourage them. Having been on both sides of the equation as teacher and parent, I firmly believe that Shackelford provides a quality education and gives the utmost in attention and care to the students.

The Shackelford staff provides a safe and positive environment for all of the students. From a teacher's point of view, I have seen each of my colleagues do everything in his/her power to make each student feel loved and cared for. The teachers here at Shackelford are outstanding!

Shackelford has great staff and students. It has been my home for the past 20 years as a staff member. I have seen many teachers and students come and go through these doors. We have good parent support and great kids.
