At Waynesville, I love the small town benefits. My Mom grew up in a small school and wanted the same for me and I'm so glad she did. With a small school and average class size of 120, it means students have a better chance to stand out, teachers can individualize teaching, and the opportunities to grow are great. Despite our small size we still excel in sports and we are an academic powerhouse with an education ranking within the top 50 in the state of Ohio. Everyone here knows each other by first and last name - maybe middle or EVEN their parents names - which makes this a very close-knit community, mostly for the better but sometimes it could be for the worse.

Teachers are nice and it is easy to get involved in extracurriculars. It's a great school. Its main shortcomings are lack of diversity and its lunch food.

I have gone to Waynesville my whole life and it is boring and not very diverse. Almost everyone at Waynesville is a white country person it is a little boring and I know that it makes it harder for us when we go out into the real world when we find more diverse people.

This is a great school. Don't let one persons experience turn you away. Ive known generations of families from Waynesville and they're all wonderful, good hearted people. I've never heard anything bad about the school system until reading the other review on here. Waynesville is a great place to liv...

How sad this school has such a negative spirit but this school left our family with a sour empty feeling! One kid was horribly bullied and the other could not get services from special education department. The principal and other school administrators have no desire to see kids succeed.
