Didn't enjoy my time here at all. If you are thinking of moving to Weare and sending your kids here don't. There is serious bullying and kids are not accepting of others unless they grew up there from kindergarten. Drugs, peer pressure, it's not a good place.

Small class size, at time I attended they were building the new addition and thinking ahead. Teachers cards. More clubs and extra curricular activities would have been nice. As I hear they have added some. Also more college prep and guidance would have been helpful.

I just finished my junior year at John stark and for the most part I have enjoyed my time at this school. For the most part the students and teachers are very nice and I feel like I'm getting a good education. I've also participated in both the golf and the track and field programs here and both are very good. My only complaint is the lack of clubs that interest me and the fact that most of the club meeting times intercept with the sports times and I think this could easily be fixed for those of us who want to participate in a variety of activities. Other than this any issue I've had with the school have been one off issues with specific people and overall I think John Stark Regional High school is a very good public high school

Mediocre to the core. JSRHS does not seek or praise outstanding achievement. In many cases it is warehouse for idle minds awaiting entry into the timber industry, or worse.

Discipline is sorely lacking in this school. There are so many troublemakers and they are not dealt with properly. It takes a very individually strong student to succeed here.

The special education department and guidance department are not parent friendly due to lack of diligence with returning calls and e-mails. This is a very difficult school for mediocre to not-so-good students. Unfortunately, the guidance and SpecED departments don't make it any more tolerable for st...
