My overall experience at John Stark Regional High School has been extremely positive. The school offers a wide variety of clubs that I have participated in. Our principal and vice principal do their best to make everyone feel included and safe.

Really hate this school ever since I got here. They offer NOTHING in the arts besides chior and band. Nothing is. taken seriously and every student there is the same. There's no diversity at all and class sizes are huge. Sports are taken more seriously than the acedemics and it's unusually obvious. Teachers mess up grading WAY too much and don't respond to emails. Most teachers act like subsitutes in their own classrooms and never have any clue about what's going on... like.. ever. Huge shoutout to the teachers that are helping me switch schools. Love yall <3

John Stark had some potential to be a better school. Even though they advicated for no bullying it seemed like no real actions were ever taken. Not many AP courses were offered and it seemed like we couldnt keep teachers around for very long. Not a terrible school but could have done so much better.

Mediocre to the core. JSRHS does not seek or praise outstanding achievement. In many cases it is warehouse for idle minds awaiting entry into the timber industry, or worse.

Discipline is sorely lacking in this school. There are so many troublemakers and they are not dealt with properly. It takes a very individually strong student to succeed here.

The special education department and guidance department are not parent friendly due to lack of diligence with returning calls and e-mails. This is a very difficult school for mediocre to not-so-good students. Unfortunately, the guidance and SpecED departments don't make it any more tolerable for st...
