I moved here sophomore year and this school and small town community is unreal, the support you feel for all of the sports and activities is unmatched for a school of 407 and a community of less than 10 thousand. the teachers are super friendly and the AP options are very good for the school size. Wells established a part of my life that will never be forgotten and if someone was moving to Maine i would say its the best place to live and this is my third school change in Maine.

The community is welcoming and adapts to changes quickly and efficiently. They also encourage their students to reach for their dreams by providing the resources to do so.

Feel like you probably would get about the same education at any other high school in Maine. This school is only highly rated in the state because it pushes through non-academically achieving students.

If you want to find out how good, or how bad, a school, just survey the teachers. I taught there for over thirty years. Twenty years or so ago, ubder the leadership of Valjeane Olenn, the faculty worked hard both to improve the curriculum and to raise standards. We managed to create a school that wa...
