GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love Columbia high school but a lot of my classes were not helpful because I learned nothing. Some coaches that are teachers only care about the sport they coach and not their students.

Overall, the school is great. There are minor changes that I believe should be made, students should be able to have one-on-one with all teachers, to get help and feel like they are being helped. Columbia High School struggles with the teacher-student connection because most teachers do not try to have a relationship with a kid because they are worried others might think something of it when in reality, it is a good, appropriate relationship helping a child learn.

The bullying and harassment is out of control, yet the faculty does nothing to help or "rescue" students - instead they belittle them and make them feel very insecure. The principal is a disgrace...
