GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Within my 3 and a half years at Harrison, I had a blast with all my experiences there. The staff were genuinely good and clearly cared about the students who attended. Some negatives I experienced were mainly the inconsistency in maintaining the dress code

The school as a whole has been great and I have had no issues with it. Harrison really gets you ready for college with their great counselors.

This is actually my first year at Harrison High school. I have been going to a private christian school since 5th grade and I was extremely nervous to go to a huge public school with different kids. I know it has only been a couple of months but it has been an amazing experience and a little bit of a culture shock but you don't feel judged here. I am thankful I got this opportunity to come here even when I got nervous about how many students it would be here. I wish kids would not act like they are all that especially freshmen but that comes with maturity. I also wish the hallways were a little bigger but that isn't a huge issue but could help with student traffic in the hallways.

This school discriminates against any race that isn't the standard white American. Just from the percentages, you can make that inference. If you're not high middle class to middle class, and white, then there's no future for you to get from the school and their discrimination. They make it a point...

As a student this is pathetic. Most of the administration don't care about the students and even some members of the facility(teachers). I shouldn't have to be fearful for my safety when I am simply going to school. Plus my parent should be made aware if there is something to be concerned about, but...

Although there are many opportunities and classes offered at Harrison High School, and there are many strong dedicated teachers there. I would not recommend it. Unfortunately, the upper level administration (principal and vice principals) do not address behavior issues within the school, and there a...

Harrison offers a large variety of classes. Teachers and counselors really care about student success in and out of the classroom.
