The ongoing experience at the Academies of West Memphis has been more then one can bare.We have gotten a new principle that is for the students and not the teachers.The reason being is that it will somehow make it more efficient to learn.Also the most memorable experiences of the school year has been our spirit week. Our spirti week is to show off the school spirit throught our grads.In such hopefully winning the spirit stick that took me 2 years to get while attending Academies of West Memphis. Not forgetting the uniquest of our school is revolved around sports ,which allows us to get in all games free with our school id ,but the bad students can also attend if only they have taken the task of cleaning up.

I would give the overall experience a failing grade. There is zero security. Anyone can walk into the school proper. There is not a double lock entry lobby where a visitor (parent, grandparent, et al) has to be signed in and allowed in through a locked door. The traffic situation for dropping off an...

My year here was great, but some of the teachers whom I will not name have trouble sending out disruptive students makeing the learning environment difficult and at worst impossible. But most teachers are great and i love the schools attempt to implement cell phones in to the learning environment.
