GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have gone to Milton Union my whole life. While I have been here, I have enjoyed my education and the experiences I have received from this school. I would complain about the fact some students get treated differently because their parents are involved highly in the school. I believe all students deserve a right to be equal.

I transferred over to the Miami valley career center my junior year but before when i went to Milton, I was miserable. I am still a enrolled student there, just attend the ctc. At Milton I felt very poorly treated by the own staff. The staff was there only for the money, not because they liked kids or wanted to help us. I felt so useless there and felt I was learning nothing and now that i attend ctc i am so much happier.

I like Milton-Union High School because I have opportunities to connect with my community. For example, the Interact club hosts a dance marathon every year to support children with diseases. One thing I don't like about Milton-Union High School is that I feel like there is a lack of community among the students. I feel like everyone has their own little cliques, and you can't branch out and be friends with a person in another "clique" without being looked down upon.

I changed schools to Milton last year, and the experience was a lot better than I had anticipated. The kids there are accepting, and the teachers and staff are great. It may not offer all of the opportunities a larger school may, but Milton does its best to ensure an excellent experience for all of...
