With a diverse student body of nearly 1,400 ninth- through twelfth-graders, Dreyfoos focuses on excellence, ranking near the top in the nation’s high schools, according to U.S. News Best High Schools®. In addition to an exceptional arts program, the Dreyfoos school offers a challenging curriculum, with the district’s largest offering of Advanced Placement and AICE courses. Dreyfoos students can also begin earning college credits with dual enrollment opportunities at Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College, and the University of Florida Online. If arts and academics weren’t enough, Dreyfoos students also participate in service projects that give back to the community through performances and public art. The school also offers an impressive array of about eighty clubs to let students explore other interests. Kids who are selected to attend Alexander W. There's so much "life" in our school. There are constant activities and learning opportunities, as well as diversity and academic excellence.

Incredible school with amazing teachers and facilities. Colleges visit here often, and the students are always seen and heard here. There are high standards and expectations for all students. They keep modifying the audition guidelines up to this day considering Choice Applications are closed. Barely any AP courses offered at this high school and they proudly displayed the students' extremely low AP scores for SY22-23 during Open House. Seems like Dreyfoos is loosing its "magic".
