I thoroughly enjoyed my time at West Stanly. I have no large complaints. I feel like my teachers and courses prepared me efficiently for my college career!

Overall I had a great experience. For my first three years the admin was amazing. They were very encouraging and ensured that school was not just a place to learn but also a place to be your true self. Most of my teachers were amazing and left a lasting impact on my life. Some have now retired, therefore making my fourth year quite not the same. However, I am honored to be a West Stanly alum forever!!

I have enjoyed my time at WSHS minus the COVID years. The teachers wanted us to succeed and were supportive of helping us learn and be prepared for college. Most coaches not only wanted to see us become the best athletes we could be, but they wanted us to be good citizens and members of the community. The school building is dated which is the only reason I don't give it 5 stars.

I watched in horror recently as the Wrestling coach of this school coached and covered a male wrestler in a match against a female wrestler.
