Custer County High School is a small school with only about 200 students. It is located in the Podunk town of Westcliffe, Colorado. Since it is a smaller school and community, everyone one knows everyone and there is not much diversity. The facilities are clean, and the students who attend the school know each other very well. This school does prioritize sports over the arts, and tries to give their students the best that they can afford.

Custer county schools is an amazing school, the teachers are great and so are the people. With the bumps in road that we had hit in the past three years our community was so supportive with us with was amazing

Volleyball was good they had great coaches and players helped you if you needed some cheering up if you needed it. Also the coaches never gave up on you.

This is a great rural school. There are pros and cons to a small school. There are a limited number of teachers and often limited opportunities. At Custer County you have the problem of limited teachers. If your student doesn't like the Spanish teacher there isn't another to chose from, as in a city...
