I have had a great experience with Western Boone. I transferred to this school in 2021, my freshman year, in search of a better community, more challenging academics, and a more competitive athletic environment; I found all of those things at Western Boone. I was immediately taken in as family and I have grown so much here. There have not been many negative situations here I have been involved in, everything has gone decently smooth, allowing for a good high school career.

The school was average. They did offer dual credit courses but only 3 at the time of attendance. It is made up of 5 extremely small towns so there graduating classes were very small, and there is next to no diversity. Some teacher were fantastic, some were apathetic or unprofessional. My biggest problem with this school is its inability to provide for children with special needs and learning help.

Friendly environment. Teachers are always there to help students. Guidance councilors go above and beyond to help students with their futures.

Webo has a truly top notch art program that not only engages students, but pushes them to achieve their best work. The faculty cares about student success and makes them aware of opportunities they might be interested in, then helps out every step of the way to get them where they want to be.

As a student, I can say that Webo is not as great as it could be. There are the good students and athletes that everyone see's, but there is a seedy underground part as well. There is a lot of pills in circulation, a lot of rumors, and a lot of people who will get you drugs or cigarettes almost imme...

My family moved to the Western Boone community when I was in 2nd grade and my sister was in 7th grade. I still remember my family meeting with the administrators and feeling very welcome. We checked out two other school districts and Western Boone was the last one my parents looked at before they de...

I am a parent of a special needs teenager. After struggling in every school he has ever attended, WEBO has been such a breath of fresh air. I feel I can finally trust that my son is being treated fairly and not being bullied. The Teachers, Special Ed staff, Principal, VP and Sports coaches have been...
