GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my past four years in Westerville South have been nothing but positive, I've never been overly concerned of my safety due to the precautions put in place. It's a very welcoming student body as well as staff and the AP and UB courses provide help to ensure students are college-ready or at least prepared to take whatever path they choose later in life.

My experience at Westerville South was a very interesting one. I was involved in so many activities that made my high school experience a memorable one. These activities included football, black history month shows, track and field and soccer. My worst experience was probably eating some foods that were served at lunch which caused me to have a stomach ache. I would like to see that healthy protocols towards school food is heavily taken.

I truly enjoy going to Westerville South High School because of the diversity it brings. I have made friends from many different backgrounds and continue to learn about others more and more everyday. Westerville South is big on sports, school culture, and encouragement. I would recommend this school to others especially if they feel like they don't know who they truly are yet. Westerville South High School has helped me figure out who I am and the person I want to be in the future.

Teachers encourage Freshman to ask questions and are very lenient the first week of school to help combat the stressfulness of sta...

The teachers sincerely want students to succeed and work with parents to that end.The Arts (choir, band, theatre) giv...

So I just recently graduated from this school and yes it has some sever issues regarding arguments and fights. I do have to say though, all you have to do is get past the hardships of freshman year and do well so you get put in the higher level programs. Those teachers care and actively interact wit...
