best parts was shop week, and cooking for the public. It brings joy to me, and the worst parts have got to be some academic classes and doing a lot of homework

Westfield Technical Academy is ok as a school but the students are horrible. There are antisemitic, homophobic, and racist students all over. Furthermore, the building is extremely dirty. However, the majority of the teachers are good.

I am so happy I chose to attend WTA for the opportunities to learn a trade. The building may be run down a tad and some of the academic teachers (math) particularly are not the best, but I would not change the fact that I am very happy to be a student here. This school sets you up for success in your shop/trade. The shop teachers put in hard work to see that you are ready to enter the workforce and join co-op program Junior year. If I could wish one thing for this school, it would be for more funding to update some of the smaller shops that don't always seem to get much funding for updates.

My daughter has been attending this school her third year. So far she is getting excellent support in all areas, and I have excellent connection with her instructors. It took over two weeks for this school to return my call! Two weeks!! I sent 2 emails, and left 4 voicemails before anyone got back to me. Communication is horrible!!! WEstfield schools are not great and I wouldnt recommend anyone moving here because of it.
