WLE has Kindergarten students sitting in front of tablets when they are not doing a worksheet. There is ZERO Art, no STEM, nor Maker's Space. The garden sits untouched. I'm not sure where all the donations go, but it's not for specialist. Westlake Elementary looks good from afar, but is far from good.

We love WLE. Our kids attended a local private school during the pandemic and had a great experience so we were hesitant to move them back to WLE but 1.5 years later, we couldn’t be happier. The teachers, staff and families are phenomenal. Our kids are thriving.

My kids have been attending since the 2021-2022 school year. We love WLE! I went to Westlake Elementary from K-5. I absolutely loved my time there. The teachers are all amazing and will make sure that your child succeeds. It is definitely the best elementary school in the CVUSD. Westlake Elementary School definitely has wise wizards!
