There are a number although few of very kind and engaged staff at the Deerfield. The behavioral issues by far outweigh the daily experience of a child. Staff is not consistent or engaged in handling such matters. There is a lot of bullying and lack of respect from the students.

Workload can be heavy at times but curriculum is challenging and on par with grade level and MA Core Frameworks.

There has been a consistent decline in the handling of behavioral issues. Expect to experience anything from physical violence, threats, exclusion and bullying. It starts as early as Kindergarten and only gets worse as they move up in grades. The behavior is not only tolerated, it appears to be fost...

What a wonderful school! Always great experiences here... Allan Cameron a wonderful principal... What a great change from the Sheehan School, when my son had gotten bullied

Great MCAS strategies help and kindness, Mrs McCartty is definitely the best second grade teacher I've known and my sons favorite teacher. Ms. Greene is also a exceptionally wonderful kindergarten teacher... I was so happy when I met her and felt great having my son in Deerfield School in Westwood!

Not the best of schools for westwood. The principal alan cameron was unfazed at the fact my child was put on the wrong bus on the first day of kindergarten. If your child has special needs look elsewhere as they are not willing to accomodate.
