You'll get a good education here if you put in the effort, but the school is very white washed. Admin also puts very little effort into finding POC teachers or even women to teach. The environment is a bubble that the faculty put very little effort into breaking.

I'm a senior at WHS and my experience has been great. There have been ups and downs of course, but overall, I feel really academically ready for college, which is all you can really ask of a high school.

The teachers and staff are all so understanding and passionate about helping their students succeed. There is such a great diversity in the type/style of classes, whether it be arts or labs or theater; there are so many options. There's also a great support system for students who might be struggling with school work or family issues or time management. Many students take advantage of the great sports and clubs offered.

I graduated from WHS in 1979 and this school did a wonderful job of preparing me for my future at that time. I'm currently a Senior Electrical Engineer and I've so far enjoyed a 35 year continuous career in my field.
