Wheat Ridge High School is a small welcoming school that tries to make everyone feel valued and welcome.

I really love Wheat Ridge. For my first year, I was kind of an outcast, but after I made some friends, joined GSA, and started believing in myself, I really felt great. The teachers here care very much about their students' health, progress, and happiness. I am so glad that I chose to go here, even though it was a rough start for me considering my social awkwardness, I really do feel that it was a great choice for me. The people here can not be compared, the STEM program is incredible, and sports are lively and exciting.

I would love to see the school work more with students and help them achieve their goals. Academically it was an okay experience until it comes to students who struggle with classes and would like to see more help to those who reach out and ask for the help they need.

Sad the good teachers are retiring and the new teachers have not respect for the students. The new teachers come in late, can not handle disruptive students.

I would describe the student as family. For example, they will have your back, and they are very supportive. But there is no sense of authority. The students are responsible for all disciplinary actions of other students.
