the food sucks the school doesn't let you get extras anymore, teacher ditches you at field trips and just the school sucks in general. I only go here because i have to aka my mom forced me until high school

One of the things that I like about Southern Maryland Christain Academy was that it offered a wide variety of sports. There is a couple of things that I would change about our school would be as the way the sports coaches talk to their players. Many people quit because of the harsh words said to them by the coaches. Many teachers love teaching but they don't know how to adapt to each different class that walks into the classroom. Another thing that I would change is the heating system in the school. Not only does it not work but it somehow makes the room a lot colder.

SMCA is a great environment that allows students to learn through a Christian establishment. Not only does the school teach the different core subjects, but there is also a class for Bible where a foundation for our faith can be built.

I would not recommend this school for your child’s early childhood/primary school education. This school does an extremely poor job in teaching very young students. They are quick to put out 4 year olds when the research and state of Maryland have proven that this is not effective and only serves to damage the child emotionally.
