This was a great school with a positive enviornment until Trinity Basin Preperatory bought them and made too many changes too fast. I don't even recognize my school anymore. They are making it too strick, and taking everything that was fun and exciting about school away or limiting it. I would not recommend this school any longer.

The worst parts are the lack of communication and overall disorganization. The best part about High Point is that both the students and staff are so close with each other that you never really feel alone.

I love that at high Point you typically get really good teachers that actually care about what they are teaching you. I also love that you are able to do everything you want you don't have to pick one thing. The only thing I wish our school could improve on would be having more electives like FFA and stuff like that.

This school basically hired all of the bullies when they grew up, that’s all the teachers know how to do while preaching not to bully. They don’t have their priorities straight and like to sweep things under the rug to make their image look good, this school started out great in its first few years...

HPA has been a tremendous God send for this area. High Academics, (now rated an A District by TEA for academics 2022!!) Excellent sports and the Fine Arts are awesome. I’d rather have an upside down mop with goggely eyes and wax lips teach my kids then to send my children here. At least the mop would not be cruel and damaging the to kids. I bet the mop could pull better test scores too. Verdict- mop wins

My daughter went here from 1st-4th grade. We felt that she had a learning disability and got her tested in the 2nd grade only to find out she was dyslexic. She did not get any assistance at this school until she was in the 3rd grade and her homeroom teacher made her feel like she was dumb. Onward to...
