Great teachers but principal Rivas needs to care more. She signs certificates and letters with a stamp and rarely shows up to school events. She wasn't at TK's graduation and other important events.

Mrs. Rivas, The Principal has Suspended my nephew Twice within the same week. Her reasoning for his suspensions were not from what she has seen herself, but from the word of children that tend to bully my nephew. My nephew also has disabilities which they know about. Fairly new to the community and never had a problem. Laurel has a lot of ways to keep the parents involved and outreach within the community. My kids have the resources necessary to thrive at Laurel! Shoutout to the staff and Boys and Girls club for all your hard work!
