I did not enjoy my experience at brooks. Although I was focused on my studies, there was drama left and right. Bullying was fairly evident in the school environment. Some of the teachers seemed unprofessional and highly opinionated for their jobs. Others were alright and average. As far as the curriculum went, it fit the magnet school efforts in all its purpose. The building at first was considerably old, but then they renovated some of the space.

The teachers utilize Google Classroom so most of the time if your student is missing an assignment or missed a day they can get the worksheet online. The teachers are also very cooperative with parents that reach out to them and work together to get the student back on track. The administrators are...
