As a incoming sophomore at Friends University I love the experience so far. Coming from California to Kansas was a big decision for myself and my family. My coaches, and staff have made this transition fairly easy. Friends is definitely a family oriented university. The best part of being at Friends is that I know I can get whatever help I need whenever I need it. Haven't experienced a worst as of yet, other than being far from family.

Friends is a very friendly school.. Everyone was very helpful with move in and made the transition go smoothly.Practice was tough but I am learning new things in a different way. I love my roommates . Everyone had bonded. I love the campus!!!... it's so beautiful here. I would love to invite all my friends to apply here.

The library is small but pretty good for a very small school. The classrooms have Smart Boards which is great. There are no official guidance counselors just the principal. No tutoring. Parent involvement is required and appreciated. There is no busing available.

My son has been attending WFS since 2024. He loves it. It offers a lot of hands-on activities, music, PE, cooking, gardening, Spanish, ASL. They take field trips every month! My son LOVES this school! And I love the education he is getting. He just finished kindergarten and is reading at a 2nd-3rd grade level! His teachers there have been wonderful. Caring, compassionate, and qualified. The Head of School, Shelli, is AMAZING! She knows all of the kids and their families...

The thing I like most about WFS is the small class size. This allows the teacher to be flexible and tailor the learning needs to the children.

There are so many things to love about Wichita Friends School. The children are happy and eager learners there. This is a direct result of creative teaching. Each teacher and staff member knows each student and speaks directly and consistently to the development of values and academics of that child...
