I attended Wichita South from 2019-2023 and the staff and classes were good. Some students were not school-ready and were easily caught up in outside distractions, which often led to fighting and drama.

Lack of coaches for sports as 2 Coaches left the School over the summer of 2023. Wichita High School South also has bowling coaches that coordinate the teams, but have no bowling experience to help the students grow within the sport. We really need an experienced bowling coach to be able to teach the sport and help students grow within the sport vs learning on their own. I am very happy with the Teachers at South and the fact that the School provides a lot of opportunities to get help when needed. T

Most of the teachers are really good and we have a great community when we work together. I would like to see the violence and the attitude of students change.

Special education program seems to be thorough and supportive.

South High is the worst school I as a parent have ever dealt with. No academic extra-curricular programs, and my daughter is constantly complaining of fist fights in the hallways.
