GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Southeast high school has been a very good school to me. I've attended since my freshman year and have made many good memories with friends and fellow students. The business programs that the school has helped me develop my passion for entrepreneurship and business. We also have programs that help us prepare for college and classes that we can take to receive college credit.

I loved the teachers and the environment. The schools interior is very pretty, some of my favorite buffalo decor included the upstairs hallway decked with walkthrough clear glass windows that showcased a statue outside. Our famous buffalo near the cafeteria, and our animal farm in the back near our animal science class. my entire time at the school was filled with nothing but opportunity after opportunity to become and achieve more.

Personally, the best part was the performing fine arts. Finding a place where I felt that I belonged. Also, the teachers. I wouldn't say I had a bad experience in general. At least not one that stuck with me. Something I would like to see change is school spirit. That has more to do with students, but I think it is really important. Another thing I would like to see change is for there to be more places where students can hang out during lunch. Just, for it to look more aesthetically pleasing.

When I attended Southeast, the advanced placement program was a good fit. However, when students fall outside of the advanced placement program educational opportunities become more limited. The school itself has seen several structural improvements over the past few years, so that's an improvement....

My daughter went to Southeast and graduated with Honors. The teachers were top notch and the office staff was great.
