Our experience at Wilbraham & Monson Academy has been deeply disappointing, largely due to the current leadership. While the school presents itself as a supportive and enriching environment, the reality under leadership has been the opposite. We ultimately decided to leave the school and I would not recommend WMA to families.

Many of the teachers at WMA are dedicated, knowledgable resources for students. There are a few that do not give that experience. There's too much emphasis on athletics at the expense of the arts. Although the school has taken steps to create some equity, we still have a long way to go. Equal treatment of students still needs work. We are still not recognizing the hard work of quiet students, athletes, and artists.

My overall experience at Wilbraham and Monson Academy were the best consecutive 4 years of my life (aside from having my 3 children and now raising my young family.) WMA was a transformative experience for me. I found myself at this school. Talents and strengths were found within me and fostered that I didn't even realize I had or were capable of. I have life long friends from my experience at WMA, not only in my fellow classmates, but in some of the most wonderful faculty members I have ever come across. It will truly always be a time in my life that I will fully and deeply cherish.

A very nice school, who has very responsible teachers and nice staff. They are willing to help with kids from the community or even from other schools. The community service spirit is very much appreciated!!! Incredible student support even to the applicants!

WMA is second to none.
