GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Jamestown High School does majority of things right and they are doing well for the resources they have been given.

This is my fourth and sadly final year at Jamestown. My experience has been absolutely amazing. The staff are fantastic. From the custodians to the principal. Jamestown has been where I found my interests, and some of my best friends. I was able to find my true self at Jamestown, and I wish that everyone could get to experience eagle pride.

I love that the teachers and faculty really care about their students. There are several tutoring programs and teachers are always willing to stay after school to help. There is a great sense of community- everyone comes to sports games and there is so much school pride!

The teachers seem to care about students here. Our school does great in sports. Also, it seems to be a happy place. I know all kids may not feel they fit in , but with sports, arts, band, choir, theater there are alot of ways to connect

Do not recommend this school!! This is very unsafe environment for anyone!!! I absolutely agree with the other reviews on bullying! The principal treats the trouble makers like kings and queens because he thinks that will help keep them out of trouble and when it doesn’t, everything gets swept under...

I would definitely NOT recommend this school. When there is any sort of harassment such as bullying, threats, or fights, the school does nothing about it, even with constant complaints or worries from students. When the consolers are told that there is bullying happening to a student, they do nothin...
