As a current parent to students in the lower and upper school I can appreciate the continued growth and support from High Mowing in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. The school allows for each individual student to flourish indivually as well as feel connected to their classmates and teachers through school traditions and opportunities to explore their own artistic and academic interests.

Loved almost everything about the school. Only thing I would like to see change was putting more effort into improving the schools other sports as the soccer team is superb but the other sports are pretty bad.

Some of the best years of my life, but it seems to be heading in another direction. Meaning they are moving away from the arts and naturalism and towards a more prep school curriculum... Which is unfortunate considering the arts were my main interest. Still a great school in my opinion, just do your research.

Run away! The school pretends to be all art/Nature/Waldorf - but caters to the international residential soccer academy in the high school. Everything they do is to keep this source of income for these students. Everything.

As a student (more than 20 years ago), High Mowing was the first pleasant educational experience of my life, after a variety of public, private, and parochial schools. My lower-middle class upbringing had made me a target at other schools (even public) but the community at High Mowing was supportive...

Profit is the priority. No commitment towards families. Head of school is a ruthless bully with no consideration for the youth. Passive communication style. Very unreceptive to parental input or simple inquiries and concerns. Very adversarial towards parents. Lack of unity and community mindedness....
