GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really enjoy the small community togetherness feel Winfield High School puts off, and although the school is considerably smaller than many of its other surrounding schools, it's still keeps up for the most part in sports and academics.

My experience at Winfield High was very unique. I was the first student to ever graduate a complete year early with honors. Over the 3 years I attended high school, I noticed huge improvements. We went through several teachers until we had the best of the best educators. We had teachers that went above and beyond for the students. We had a healthy environment that allowed students to express themselves in a healthy manor. Winfield High helped me grow into the person I am today.

They dd not help with my disabilities. There is a reason why they have the worst test scores in the area. The teachers, for the most part, didn't care.

This district is a joke. Education is their last priority. All they care about is a few select students and their sports complex. My kids went here for a whopping year and learned nothing except that the only kids who matter are the ones related to the board members and the athletes.

We moved to this district purposely to give our son a smaller school community. We have been nothing but pleased from K - High school. Because it is a small school you walk into the school and the teachers/staff/principal know who you are and who your child is in the building. Our son has done excel...

Very happy with this school.. Our son have been here since Kindergarder and he is now a freshman of HS. Its small enough so your child isnt a number to them. So nice to walk in and the teachers and staff know who you are. We are moving and bought land but only looked for land in this school district...
