Some teachers don't seem to care, and it shows. Getting help feels like im being dragged through mud by a truck. On top of that, the bathrooms are always locked, so you're running around just to find one you can use and some are open during one part of the day and closed the next period. It's frustrating and makes school way more stressful than it should be.

The school is pretty nice so far and Ive enjoyed the intro to engineering course and AP biology class. The school sometimes is a little hard to get around with the as it takes 10 minutes to walk to and from some of my farther classes with only a 7 min period to get to my classes. I would love to see more bathrooms open as Ive had to use the nurses office multiple times due to them being closed, or due to too many people using the bathrooms at once.

My overall experience with highschool has been alright, except when I was in the middle of moving at the end of tenth grade. I moved much farther away from school and now had to do a 30 minute commute everyday to school which is draining. Sure there are people who commute longer or live a block away but the move torn me. Other than that my best experience with Highschool was just making friends whom I feel I will have long term relationships with. Somethings that I would like to see change in the campus is the uplift of the cellphone ban due to anti-social kids like me.

This school seems more concerned with promoting the kids who are doing well than with stopping the rampant bullying present. Children with learning differences are approached in a textbook / checklist manner and are not regarded as individuals.

I have two boys at the school, they both love the school, their teachers and their experience in the STEAM magnet!

We rated the school and its teachers neutral because while the school does have its share of very good teachers in programs such as AP French, and its share of teachers that confound students as to grading policy and implementation, our experience in the music program is that there is much to be imp...
