GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Beacon does not prepare students for college. Academically, you will not be prepared for college level STEM classes or other rigorous courses. Yes, Beacon is an art school, but that does not mean every student plans to pursue it as a career. It is great that students can immerse themselves in their selected art, but that does not mean the core academic curriculum should suffer.

Great school! Such a great place to look the arts. Great teachers. Amazing love for their students. Love the time I have been here. Super glad I choose this school to further my education. Feel great that I'll be ready for college and my life ahead of me.

The teachers at this school are some of the best teachers I had. They are kind and approachable. Thanks to them I was able to move forward and graduated with good grades. The teachers at this school do care for their students, for they are available for you if you are having any troubles in and outside of school.

If you go to founders you’ll mainly be harassed by students, because they’re allowed to do whatever they want. In beacon you get harassed by the teachers because...

I was part of the first graducating class and was very sad to leave it. The teachers leave am impression on their students that has yet to go away even after seven years. The classrooms are a little more relaxed than the norm but it made learning more fun, making the students actually want to learn...
