We have had a great experience at World Academy. My son started in the 6th grade and the transition from public school to World Academy was incredibly easy. He has been so much happier here than he ever was in public school. He truly enjoys being a student at World Academy. The administrators and teachers have all been wonderful and my son feels like he receives a lot of individual attention in all subjects. The teachers really try to create a bond with each student. The after school help has been a game changer for my son. He knows there is always someone there who can help him with any subject area. Communication is also excellent.

Most of the staff and teachers are just horrible. Some of the "teachers" don't even know the school handbook. For example, some are on their phone during class, even though it is against the rules, but they never get caught. One in teacher in particular claims that students are breaking it, even thought they aren't. Furthermore, I think it is completely inappropriate for kindergartners and below to have nap time on the floor, even if they are on a mat.

In early 2013 we began exploring private school options when we realized how profoundly bored our daughter was in second grade, and the public school teacher(s) and administration just repeated we're following state law re what we teach.

My child had a good experience here in preschool and early elementary school, but starting in upper elementary and middle school, something really seemed to go wrong. My son is having a great experience in this school. With fewer kids per classroom gives him more attention. He is a straight A student with a lot of potential thanks to the teachers and students. Like any school it has few cons, but they are non visible.

This is basically a public school that costs a lot of money. Some public schools might even be better.
