I have never felt more at home than here at Wylie Prep. Though it may not be perfect, I am provided with proper education, safety, and long lasting friendships!

Wylie Preparatory Academy has gifted me with some of the best resources in order to prepare me for college. WPA is known as a university model private school that structures its classes and school days much like a standard college schedule. But WPA has been less of a school and more like a family. With only around 350 students the teachers are very personal and the parents are extremely involved in all activities. Family is the ingredient that sets WPA apart from other schools.

Some good people work there but highly intolerant culture and there seems to be a lack of education and knowledge on the staff

Legalistic christians at their finest. Some great teachers, some great administrators but the overall feeling is conform or leave.I would not recommend this school to anyone I cared about. Homework is ridiculous and full of busy work. Helicopter moms will thrive doing their childrens work for them....
