Pretty bad experiences from several families, poor communication with parents, teachers that leave a poor impression on students and parents, and not much help for kids with behavioral issues. Not much is done with bullying. Communication with admin is decent, as they are quick to communicate issues and attempt to rectify issues within their limits; definitely can improve on how things are explained so everyone's on the same page. Lunch options are good and healthy. However, there's not much supervision between classes, at lunch, or during recess and I wish that would improve as that's where a lot of the bullying occurs. There's a decent bit of violence between students from our experience and the reputation the school has had for years in the community, again, not much resources to help kids with behavioral issues in school. This causes constant disruptions for every other student. I don't believe they enforce their bullying policies enough at all, which leads to violence.

As the parent of an advanced student, I'm not impressed. There isn't a choice in schools anymore for this grade level, therefore I am pulling my child from the public school system.
