Academically, Wyoming High School is an outstanding school with a large focus on grades and college readiness. However, I wish they had a stronger emphasis on students' mental health and wellbeing, especially during the pandemic.

Wyoming High School is a tight knit, competitive community that keeps a large focus on students success in the classroom. A lot of focus from the teachers and counselors is put on maintaining a good GPA, taking challenging AP/ advanced courses, and having a strong college application. Downside is that administration cares more about Wyoming's reputation rather than the students well being inside of the building.

Wyoming High School is very involved in academics and extracurricular activities in a balanced manner. Students are encouraged to take advanced, challenging classes to go beyond their limits. Sometimes, this can result in great pressure, but if the student finds a good balance, it can be very effective. It is a completely safe environment with great school spirit and a safe environment as well.

Horrible. Wyoming schools like to sell themselves as giving a private school type experience. Residents generally go along with this charade out of concern for their own property values. The major disappointment is how the teachers average grades down, not up. If you made an A- the second semester, and a B+ the first, you will get a B+ . There is no incentive to do better......

I loved my time in Wyoming City Schools. I started at Hiltop and graduated from WHS in 2008. The curriculum is top notch and the atmosphere encourages academic development.
