Yazoo city high school is not the best but we work with what we have. I think the school it self needs more funding because we do not have the proper facilities we need .

I would say that Yazoo City High School is not a high school that I would refer a parent to send there child. A lot can be changed such as the learning environment and the teachers.

Yazoo City High School is coming up tremendously since I've graduated from there. The resources can improve however, and I also feel that they need to start allowing teachers to sign longer contracts to give the students a sense of stability. It seems that every year there is a new coach and three new teachers.

If you have the opportunity to send your child to another school ,please do so. Most of the teachers don't care and they constantly say to the students they're only here for a paycheck. I graduated YCHS in 1995. We had both great teachers and students. The teachers back then didn't put up with any BS like they do today. Also, back then the students were not nearly disrespectful as they are these days. School is everything you make of it. I really do miss being in High School again....
