As the four years of my high school career have flown by I have noticed a lack of student involvement so, I would like to see more student involvement.

I think Yoakum High School is an amazing high school. I think that they could maybe improve some of the miniscule rules.

There aren't many extracurricular activities that everyone can participate in. There is about six clubs, if that and most of it is during school, unless you're in athletics. It is probably about the same as an average school, but we could have a lot more.

There is much to be desired in regards to actual education. Now, if you want a school where sports is most important and will push all other things to the side then you are looking for Yoakum. I pay school TAXES which are higher than my property taxes, which than I can comment. If the schools so Great, why do teachers seem to leave and we end up having more uneducated ones take their place? I believe for a small town this school is a disgrace for educating Our children.
