My time at york high school has been great. Coming from a school that had a low graduation rate York high school is far better. I'm given lots of resources to succeed in my education after high school. The community at york high school is small but a loving community that holds students to there standers of kindness and self-sufficientcy. Overall York high school has made college and other plans after high school extremely reachable. And would like to thank all the staff for there amazing teaching.

York High School is a friendly and comfortable environment. The school offers a variety of different extra curricular activities I personally have strived to take full advantage of. Our sports and athletics department is excellent. And we over all have a high spirited and positive student body. Improves that may need to be made might involve drug enforcement and some class materials (I don't believe our veers or has enough education on technical and skills related to trades.)

Do not send your kids here. It's not a good environment, and the teachers do not care about you unless you are top of the class. Sports are ok, but again, unless you are the number one player, the coaches could care less about you. It's just not a supportive environment at all.

A note to past reviewers: A group of teenagers who are not open to having new peers join them is called a "clique," not a "click."

Just want to congratulate the students and staff on another job well done. Once again you scored higher then the state average and many surrounding high schools on the MHA and other assessment tests given to you. This in addition to a 90+% graduation rate. Both my children went through the York scho...

The school consists of basically two types of people, the people who are bound to succeed because of their parents and sucking up, and then you have the smart ones who don't get acknowledged as they should. The schools extracurricular activities are great, yes, but that doesn't reflect the poor qual...

The only reason this school doesn't have a 5 star rating is because the people who tend to visit these sites are bitter over their experience. Sure, the school isn't perfect but it by far is one of the best schools in Maine and was recently named one of the best public high schools in the country. I...
